GT4 Web Service for Biomed

This practical was developed for the Biomed Summer School 2007. It is suitable for group works with a GT4 server deployed on a central host.  The host service used in the practical is no longer available but the materials can be reused and deployed on any GT4 server.

The practical is divided into five steps involving client and server-side design and implementation of stateless and stateful GT4 web services.  OGSA-DAI is used for database queries in one of the five steps.

The tasks of the practical involves simulating searching of PDF files and queries using the BLAST database.
