Introduction

The Queen Mary grid site (UKI-LT2-QMUL)  forms part of the LondonGrid distributed Tier 2 within the GridPP project. The main user of our resources is the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, however spare resources are available to NGS users through the NGS VO.

Resources

Queen Mary's cluster has over 2000 CPU cores and 300TB of storage (soon to be expanded to 1PB).

Software

The machines run Scientific Linux 5, and support the glite middleware.
