RA Training Course

All new RA Managers and Operators must undergo a short training course. It gives comprehensive training on the procedures and tasks that RAs will encounter. Items on the agenda include:

• The UK Certification Authority
• How to create an RA
• RA Manager and RA Operator tasks and responsibilities
• How to approve certificates
• How to revoke certificates
• Operation of the RA web interface at https://ca-ra.grid-support.ac.uk

You will need your certificate in your browser to identify yourself to the software. On completion you will receive an email, please forward this to the NGS Support Centre. If your appointment letters have already been appointed then you will be promoted to an RA Operator shortly after.
