Research in a Connected World

The NGS has recently taken a lead in producing a basic introductory text on the subject of grid computing. This document will be of benefit to any researcher hoping to understand which features of distributed computing would be of use to them. Created by a community of experts and researchers across many domains, the text is expected to be an evolving community resource.
