VBrowser

VBrowser is an explorer-like file browser for the Grid developed at Nikhef (National Institute for Subatomic Physics, Netherlands).

- It supports core grid file systems including Grid-FTP, SSH-FTP, SRM, LFC and iRods out of the box.
- Drag and drop files between local and remote file systems to upload/download files.
- Platform independent (runs on Windows, Linux, Mac).

Download / Running

Before running this tool, we recommend you first run the Certificate Wizard to setup your Grid certificate and create a local Grid proxy certificate.

• Download the latest release from: http://www.nikhef.nl/~ptdeboer/vlet/
• Unzip the archive.
• Win: start the vbrowser.exe located in the 'bin' subdirectory.
• Linux: start 'vbrowser.sh', also located in the 'bin' subdirectory.
• Or start via Java directly: execute 'java -jar vbrowser.jar', also located in the 'bin' subdirectory.
