Users
This section of the NES website is tailored specifically for individual users and contains information on how to apply for and manage individual user accounts on the NES, where to find help on getting started and the latest innovations from the NES.
The NES currently provides individual users with 2000 free cpu hours per year which is ideal for testing the suitability of NES resources and “blue sky” research prior to the purchase of further resources. NES resources have been used by researchers for a wide variety of research from DNA analysis to modelling criminal patterns. For an idea of the type of research carried out on the NES, see our user case studies.
Individual users also benefit from the expertise of NES staff through our helpdesk and access to a wide range of tutorials and information on the NES website.
